The Sea Shepherd
Sea Shepherd Conservation Society is a vigilant and coersive conservation organisation founded in the USA in 1981. Since that time the organisation has been at the forefront of wildlife conservation as it patrols the world’s oceans with its army of ships. With the backing of their nature loving and morally upright supporters, Sea Shepherd has battled the high seas and equally overwhelming governments in the bid to protect our most endangered and beloved wildlife. Because Sea shepherd is committed to paying more than lip service to the protection of animals, they engage in activities some would call extreme or aggressive in comparison to their diplomatic counterparts such as Greenpeace. Sea Shepherd believes in action rather than words in furthering the cause to save animals from cruelty. This year they have launched campaigns in both the southern oceans and north Atlantic to prevent animal cruelty and mass murder.
