Neptune’s Navy
Sea shepherd has reached a new high, becoming the front cover focus article of the highly lucrative New Yorker. The article entitled “Neptune’s Navy” discusses in depth, of the sea shepherd philosophy, history and a biography of the moral drive of the organisation, Captain Paul Watson. The article also considers the more aggressive tactics of sea shepherd and how they are able to use international law to clear themselves of any charges. In effect the laws and regulations that allow countries to be the sole enforces of the seas, thus granting whaling nations the ability to continue their slaughter without fear of arbitration, also give sea shepherd the ability to use more aggressive tactics as there are no laws that can be enforced in order to charge them.
